Psychology which is a department of The Faculty of Art and Sciences. The aim of the Psychology department is to educate the “psycologists”, in accordance with Atatürk’s Principles and Revolutions, who are devoted to their country and conscious of their tasks and responsibilities and who can work at various fields of psychology.

Psychology is a science which deals with problems right from the beginning of antenatal period through lifespan regarding the various adaptational and health related problems, and it is a field which is focused on human behaviors and process of thought not only in an individual, bu also social and organizational aspects. In Psychology department, there are courses such as Development Psychology, Applied Psychology, Health Psychology, Educational Psychology, Industrial Psychology, Experimental Psychology.
